  • Very cool. Is there a vent in the side to add sound or is it just in the top? I am interested in making one too. Just need to use someones band saw. I have a sabresaw (jigsaw) but I am not sure if it would cut perfectly straight though.

    Any Tips?

  • @TheBombBros use the jigsaw for sure! that is what i used!!

  • who would dislike this? he HANDMADE it. good work :D

  • plz make me one brandon!!!! haha

  • Hey man it's nice looking but you should use a different hardwood for the playing surface, like mahogany or African Padauk, and maple for the sides and bottom, then you have to learn how to tune the drum.

Looks like you have the skill to make the drum but you need to invest in the better wood, and learn to cut the tongues in the proper tuning.

Keep trying though, you'll get it.

    Good luck.

  • Awesome work...very original and unique sound

! How do you tune it? Have you tunned it yet?

  • I'm also interested about that 'vent in the side' question...

  • @BMBFishLures Cool I will. Thanks!
