Sorry Winterwinwin, I know this is late but better late than never right? lol

While weight measurements sometimes reflect bad eating habits, a sedentary lifestyle, and poor health and fitness, they don't always. In fact, there are many large, "overweight" (but fit) men and women who eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly, and enjoy excellent health (as indicated by their optimal blood pressure, blood cholesterol, and blood sugar levels). And, there are many "healthy weight" men and women who don't. Assuming health based on size is inaccurate and prejudiced.

We must remember that the media, advertisers, and the diet industry are selling us dissatisfaction with our bodies in order to make a profit. The obesity industries, including commercial weight-loss programs, weight-loss drug purveyors and bariatric surgery centers, will likely top $315 billion this year, nearly 3 percent of the overall U.S. economy. These industries make a huge profit from training people to hate bigger bodies and to think that big automatically means unhealthy.

Many studies have proven that big people who eat right and are active are just as healthy as those who are thinner, and much more healthy than thin people who don't eat right and exercise.

Health is important. But health isn't conducive to size.

Be active, eat healthy foods, love your body and yourself, and don't let the media brainwash you into thinking that you can tell someone's health by their size.

  • LOVE it!!! Such a powerful video.

  • Thank you, hun. :)

  • Hey babe!!! I only just saw this for some reason :(

I can't believe anyone would say horrible things to you about your looks...you are one of the most beautiful woment I have ever seen!! And those other women who were called fat weren't even CLOSE :-( It's so true there is a double standard there, thank you for revealing it! :-)

  • Hey, sis! Thanks for the awesome comment. I know what you mean, I miss some videos too. ugh.

    I love you, girl! XXXX

  • Who knew you had so many talents that being beautiful is just a sideline! Confident, loving people don't judge others. Fear makes people hate. Anonymity offers a platform for people to comment without thought.

  • Aww!! Thank you so much, that has put a BIG smile on my face!

And I agree, it usually is fear that causes hate. Things are changing though. Slowly but surely.

  • I know I'm kinda late to the party with my comment, but I have to say wow! YOu did a spectacular job on this video. I love how you speak up for plus size women, but regular women also. The most important thing about you video to me is that you not telling people to just love one size but all sizes. I would love if you would do another video telling us about how you came to love yourself and love your curves. I think a video about that would help alot of girls out here.

    thankyou for your time.

  • This was amazing.

  • WOW! This video is so old that I had to go over all the comments to know what you were talking about! Anyways...If you try to be a little more understanding you'll realize that I am not 'telling' her what she is....I am just saying-letting know-informing of what I think of her. When I say nobody can tell you what you are I mean that nobody should define her, that only she can do that.

*I hope I was more clear this time*

    Thanks!

  • You say pig I say you are an ignorant asshole. Have a lovely day.

  • You're Right, Nobody Can Tell Her What She Is Or Is Not, And Yet You Say She's Beautiful. Hmm...

  • It's not ok for guys to be fat on TV. Those pix you posted are all from comedy series. The fat husband is the running joke. Look at the guys on CSI, they are all ripped or at least in good shape.

  • its not healthy to be a whale eaither, just be a normal bmi and your fine, stop trying to defend being HUGE or being overly THIN just be average and if you are huge loose weight and if your thin gain some
