Great track: Steve seemed to move into a funky sound period on this LP 'Arc of a diver'
He departed temporarily from Rock music but still exhibited some quality guitar work on many tracks. Never doubted the man - I just forgot what 'genre' he was playing and listened to him and it was A-OK!

Higher love pour le légendaire Steve !!! inlassablement je prends le 'night train'

Bought the direct cut the day it was released. Wore this track out. Steve is a musical genius with one of the most recognisable voices in rock and blues . Saw him live with Steely Dan in Australia recently. Still as good as he was 30 years ago.

This is back in my days when they actually played instruments, not just scratched records to make squeeky noises like today.

got arc of a diver when it came out back in the day, and this was the song that really got me, and still does. permanently on my mp3.

In 2008, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Winwood #33 in its 100 Greatest Singers of All Time. Need I say more.

It totally Rocks !!!
Excellent!!! I had long burned this puppy into my archives, then heard a snippet of it lately, and wondered where I'd heard it before. NOW I know. This is a deep cut most audiophiles probably wouldnt remember, because it got airplay on TV in its much abbreviated version.
Killer Tune!! Thanks for burning it to YouTube
