@rbobert18 In the day of vinyl (records, big round plastic things, whatever), a band would release a single to become a hit and get played on the radio. So on one side of the vinyl would be the main song, the a-side, and on the back there was a song or two. That is the b-side. But now, as we move into the cd age, there are cd-singles. And even though the cd doesn't have a second side, the other songs on the single are considered b-sides.
