Steve Lawson challenges us to know the truth of Scripture, and to preach it to our congregations. God's Word is clear and certain, and so we can preach in the same manner.

  • Yes, we need more men willing to proclaim truth, rather then men who hide from it.

  • Joel Osteen has brought shame to the Church and God's glory. I don't like lukewarm vanilla jello!

  • Osteen is a mouthpiece for satan

  • Amen, Mr. Lawson.

  • Olstien? lol

  • Nice. There you have it, folks. 2000 year old myths are venerated over open-mindedness and healthy skepticism. Utter rubbish. I wish every success to Lawson and his congregation. Just keep religion out of government and all will be well.

  • Jesus is the truth the really truth, and doesn't exist another or other truth I have reached hat truth strong stands and eternal all glory for Jesus

  • @jdswiney So are you telling me that God condemns people for sinning even though they may not know it is a sin? That just makes God look like a monster. God doesn't condemn someone because of ignorance. How can he?

Actually in the verse presented, Jesus is talking to a Jew who already new Jesus. So this verse doesn't really apply since Jesus is talking to a person who at least had part of revelation, where I'm talking about a group of people who have no revelation.

  • @nate12387

Qouted: "You can't tell me that you know absolutely for sure that a person in Africa who has never heard the gospel is going to hell."

Sure you can. They are condemned to Hell because of their sin. Jesus said they are. Read John 3:18. They are condemned all ready.

  • Wow this guy is being really black and white.

You can't tell me that you know absolutely for sure that a person in Africa who has never heard the gospel is going to hell. There are to many factors.

What about people with mental health issues or aborted babies?

Also, only God knows where a person is. It is not your place to pass judgment over other people and say where they are. That is God's doing, not ours.
