Coming from a reer Darood, I don't blame Somalilanders anger and wanting to part ways from Somalia. Siad Bareer did them wrong but on the other hand, they were not the only clan targeted. Where else in Somalia did Air force jets take off from the local airport and bomb the local towns and cities. The excuse was they wanted to get rid of the SNM. ok, fair enough, every state has the right to defend thmeselves from rebel groups. But they instead bombed people's homes with them inside and even women and children people fleeing the country.

I dont know what your talking about because pure Somali tradition can only be found in the North. Southern Somali traditions are Jareer influenced. Look at the way you dress and the dances like the dirty 'niiko' that you perform. The style of music and even they way you speak Somali is Jareer influenced. You even have the Jareer mentality of killing, raping and stealing. Look at the once beautiful Mogadishu today. I'll say again -pure Somali traditions and language can only be found in the North
