Hi Nice bike you have there. Regarding fragility they are no worse than any other British single, If you change the oil and filters regularly, don't go charging along any motorways (in fact avoid them like the plague) these bikes were not made for that and will not stand that sort of riding for long. They will last a long time. you look after them and they will repay you with a lot of trouble free miles.From a Brit bike rider (Royal Enfield 500) cheers

Maby if you cover the mic with a lil piece of fabric or cotton it will still pick up sound but not so much wind . Bad ass bike anyway.

@enfielddnepr there are a lot of opinions out there, but i've never heard anybody say that Matchless bikes are more fragile than other bikes, let alone heard or seen any proof! :-)
