May Allah(SWT)forgive us all for all of our faults.

nice video, as a pure hearted person above asked i just feel to say that i think a question such as 'why doesnt he have a beard' should be imposed as if its a bad thing because he hasnt grown one. Faith is established through what is in your heart, it is between you and Allah (c.c) i dont believe that question is necessary because the connotations to it imply that you should have a beard in order to be a good muslim. Salaam Aleykum

asalamu allaikum brother,
After asking, I was wrong, may Allah forgive me. Here is a summary of opinions: Hanafi and Hanbali scholars: wajib and removing is impermissible, Shafii and Maliki sch: recommended sunnah and removing is makruh.
In any case,..in matters where there is a legitimate difference of opinion between scholars, it is actually haram to prohibit what other qualified scholars have deemed permissible. your sister

It's waajib. The hadeeth of ibn Umar in which he narrates the prophet sws said to leave the beards and trim the moustaches. Shaving or trimming the beard (shorter than a fistful) is a sin and the ijma of the ulama is that the one who shaves has resembled the woman. Ad Allah knows best.

assalamu allaikum my friend,
There is a hadith in which Muhammad (SAWS) says to grow your beards to make your faces more beautiful. And it's sunnah but not wajib, waAllahu alam.
Thank you for your concerns.
And he does have an amazing voice, may Allah grant him paradise, ameen.

assalamu allaikum,
He said that these shouikh were people who learned from a school (i.e. the proper way). And he said these days you don't find people learning from a school as is proper, instead they buy 10 cassets from a sheikh and imitate him. He also said this won't do (it makes sense, you actually have to sit with a sheikh who knows and who can correct your mistakes and teach you the way he learned from his sheikh, etc.). Hope this was helpful!
