  • I want to change the colour of the home button so can I just buy the home button & not the button cable (button works fine). There are many colours for the iPhone 4 can I buy that (just the button & not cable attached) to put in the iPhone 3G ? I heard that both buttons are different because they are different phone models. Thanks. :)

  • @GODLOVEEESYOU The colored iPhone 4 home buttons that are on our website are compatible with all iPhones. They are the same size and fit all models.

  • Do u have to take the screen off to do that.

  • @WhiteNnerdy86 You just have to take the screen assembly off, but you dont have to take the glass off of the midframe

  • are all the home buttons different like a ipod touch 1 gen home button the same as a ipod touch 4 gen home button?

  • @808Jackster Yes, the ipod touch are different than the 3g and 3gs

  • Hi, very nice video, I was wondering if you know, I have a 3Gs and when putting the phone in DFU mode or soft reset the home button works fine but when I try to use the home button in the phone mode it does nothing at all, any idea why this can be?

    Thanks Chris

  • Is there a certain resistance it is supposed to be? My switch is showing at 5k ohm and home button doesn't do anything when I power up my phone. I have checked the connectors are touching the contact on point on the phone and it is. Board issue maybe?
