Beautiful mushroom photography and original music by mycologist and author David W. Fischer. (The music is "November," which was entirely composed, arranged, performed and produced by David W. Fischer.) Some of the mushrooms are edible, some poisonous, some inedible, and some as-yet untested; see the Web site for more information.

  • I got your book edible wild mushrooms of north america at the library once. I loved it so much I purchased a copy :) I even got to try a few of the mushrooms listed in it. The first year on our land we had Giant puffball mushrooms. There is also nothing more wonderful or mysterious than wild fungi! If it can't be eaten it can still be candy for the eyes.

  • @amagammonon : Thank you! I am glad you enjoy the book.

  • What are the mushrooms at 1:32? I have seen them several times in the very late fall, but haven't been able to ID them!
