How free is the press today, and what did the founders intend? Come along with OTN on location at the Executive House and see how police respond to a film crew not approved by the state.

  • Executive orders dont' trump law, and can be contested in court. You should get your facts straight. Also prisons are public property sinc ethey are funded by tax payers, should we take away the gates and just let anyone walk in them? They do those things for security reasons. You could be a security threat they don't know you or your background, so by failing to cooperate with them and giving them that info you are enhancing their thoughts of you being a security threat.

  • @oswald2872 Well there's no need to worry about executive orders because Obama promised to do away with them, right after he ended the war, got rid of the lobbyists, and put legislation up for public viewing. It's a good thing they ar3e men of integrity running things.

What do you suppose they do in the white house that people find so threatening? Perhaps the reason there were no gates is because they were no threat as designed and intended by the founders.

  • The only things permits do is serve as revenue generation and allow government folks to keep tabs on people. There is no constitutional law that requires permits.

  • Exactly. It's about control.

In this case the permits are free, but they setup hoops. They have lots of forms for you to fill out, tell them everywhere you want to go, tell them what your story is about, and be sure to file it at least 3 days in advance!

  • actually you do need a permit. like any right given to you there are limits. government can have a say in the"time and manner" that a protest can happen, but it applies to film to

  • Oh, I need a permit? Which part of their 1st amendment mentions that?

  • He hates America? No, you idiot, YOU hate America. You know why, moron? You want to squash dissent out of existence. Actually, you are a fascist. Saying you are a true American is like saying Adolf Hitler, the man you actually look up to and idolize, is a true American. Go read a book

  • I don't think that the founding fathers whose views were similar to that of Sams' were considered to hate America, the true patriots are those who stick up for the founding principles of this country.

  • @scotgregadam Calling me a "bitch nigga," just shows how ignorant you are. I don't watch television in the first place due to how biased it is. If you don't like the rules in the United States then you could always leave?

  • @6production9 its public funded land he shouldn't have been asked for a permit or to move at all wake up you little bitch and as far as biased watch the major news networks then do your own research online then you'll never wanna watch you tv again bitch nigga

  • All your points are your own theories of what is happening. You say that the "armed men" around the white house want you to move. When really your just video taping in a place your not suppose to without a permit. All your "facts" were opinion based and biased.

  • Great vid!
