Yes she sang it very good, but the song is actually from Bessie Smith. And she wrote it, because she was an alcoholic.

Maybe it is because I heard the Bessie Smith version first but it is a lot better. This version almost sounds to smooth. It does not have that "Oh God, the sun is coming up" feel to it.
