  • what is your fore foot tilt angles? need to know where your 1st and 5th metatarsals are. this video does nothing to assist with any correct recommendations.. listen to your trainer..hear the on off noise. .. that means not efficient. should be a smooth hum noise

  • Move cleats forwards, move saddle forwards, raise saddle.

  • hozzer1 suggests a smoother pedal stroke which is completely true. to achieve this try lifting up with your hip-flexors on the upstroke, this is partly why every picture of a pro cyclist you see they have that center muscle on their quads bulging out(rectus femoris). If it seems difficult to lift with them or causes a pinching sensation, try moving your saddle back on it's rails in small increments, or move your cleats towards your heel. Also raising your stem to open up the hip angle can help

  • you hear that? that's the sound of uneven power applied through the stroke. It should hum evenly no up and down noice. Concentrate on improving this and your pedaling technique will help you save energy.

  • did you end up overcoming this injury? what exercises did you do? i am going through similar at the moment. looks like your right knee is pulling in towards the centre bar through the middle of the stroke, meaning that the vastus lateralis (outer quad) might be firing earlier than the vastus medialis and could be pulling your kneecap off to the side slightly... this is not advice - i am no professional and this is only a guess at best...

  • its hard to comment on stuff like cleat position and stuff like this, especially when there is no profile view. but i can tell you to watch out for how outwards your knees go when you bring them up. keep them inline the whole time, and close to the frame

  • I think your right pedal axle is crooked.
