we must say that the center of Soukous Stars sweet music was the unique rhythm guitar by Lokassa(see what he did to Madilu music after Franco's demise).... and Shimita on the vocals..my opinion

I wonder why this song is titled Nairobi Nights, no quarells thoughoriginal version was done by the group Tabora Jazz. Now Tabora Jazz was a TZ band but may have sold more records in Kenya than in any place else. Tabora like most TZ bands were and are still popular in Kenya. VoK (Voice of Kenya radio), Jux boxes belted these songs in your ears non stop. Yes like TPOK Jazz, Afrisa Int., Sosoliso etc were Kenyan, African, Bands. I sure loved it. Still love it
