This Chicago-based band plays an eclectic mix of neo-classic pop melodies interspersed with extended jams. Lead guitarist Jimmy Conry has the chops to drive jams that consistently arrive at their destination while organist (and songwriter) Joe Hettinga ingeniously creates pop melodies that are the foundation of this arrangement. Fortuneately, bassist Kevin Barry and Drummer Bob Parlier have the depth of musical experience and talent to provide both a richly textured backdrop to this combo and the glue to keep it together. Hettinga and Conry share vocal duties and write most of the songs. The topics of the lyrics and their vocal style are also pop-driven but cleverly add contrast to the pop melodies by mocking the element at the same time. The band plays a cover of the Axl Foley theme song and it provides an good glimpse of the way Strange Arrangement has incorporated classic pop into it's sound. This video includes a section from the Axl Foley cover at approx. 3:00 mins in. Pegasus, The Other Side and No Light are also included.

i hate to be a fanboy, but I can't get enough STRANGE ARRANGEMENT! honestly - the magic you conjure... it's synaesthetic electro-magnetism! haha keep up the good work -- I'd be an SA tour kid, if I weren't so busy as is lol -- 5 stars :)
