This Basant was part of an invitation concert of All India Radio at Varanasi in 1958. It was later included in an LP. The tabla is by Munne Khan, student of Masit Khan of the Farrukhabad gharana.

he was a pioneer .his style was carried forward by numerous students.devendra murudeshwar,hari chhabria,aniruddha bannerjee of aurobindo ashram,shri shibnath chakravarthy in bangalore.many more great artists.his deepavali,hamsadhwani,in fact all ragas r very beautiful.
