  • I thought 18 minutes would be a little long but with the views and soundtrack I found it really enjoyable. I was riding along with you!

The sunlight gave the video a great light level. One of your best yet.

  • @antnor26 - Many thanks, it was a road Ihad never been on before, I will be back in 2012

  • Nige - Lovely to watch your riding again, looking forward to next years 'work shop' in Normandy very best DB

  • @flowerm4n - You have asked a good question which you could write a book about. Straight lining bends is OK, but on an advanced test, when I examine,it is not acceptable. At a recent examiners meeting it was brought up and the general concensus was you can straight line bends etc, so long as you stay your side of the centre white line. Yes it is done, but at the speeds that tests are conducted, within the national speed limits, it was felt not a neccessary manourve. Hope that helps.

  • nigel, several times during the video , you straighten the road out by crossing the white line, something i do regularly when training and on ride outs , my question is.

is this acceptable or even encouraged on a test?

i know safety is the first importance , but if the view is there and its safe ???

  • @ginkotree08 - Thank you ver y much. It all about planning, right speed, gear and NOT rushing. Going at your own pace, within your OWN comfort Zone.
