This is totally wrong..
child learns through an observation..
there's no need for the directress to tell her actions..
it's more effective to introduce the exercise in silence..
and what logic do you think you are teaching when you colour the whole thing especially while the frame is still on the paper?
while teaching language, practical life exercises must not be ignored..
tuck in the chair when you leave your seat..

I agree with you all.......wonder where MikeNCristy are coming from? their spelling from the video of the "pounding Playdoh" (duh) was not even correct!!!!! And what a useless work....anyway!

This is embarassing to watch, the very last presentation i do is somewhat similar to that in that they can just experiment with different shapes but not colouring the whole thing esp while the frame still attached, that is not teaching them to stay within the lines.
The first presentation should be the inset alone, thats it.

The reason she did not present the lines because the child has not yet developed a steady hand yet when first presenting the insets.

She isn't even using the *inset* - just the frame! The language is as wrong as the presentation.
