@GBPaddling i was actually looking at there on the map yesterday, i think a trip down that way will defo get done this summer, not been there since i was a kid. ive still got lots of angelsea to explore yet then going to get down the llyn peninsula
@stebuses Well you're in one of the best areas in the UK for sure when it comes to sea kayaking, have you tried further South? The stretch of coast from Newquay to S.t Davids is totally brilliant, and beyond that.Starting from Newquay, and working South it is difficult to find anywhere that ISN'T excellent, and the variety is superb, easy stuff,Islands, tide races, caves, arches, just everything, and easily accessible, and not too busy for the most part. Some of my favourite trips have been around Wales.
@GBPaddling ye i know what u mean about keeping it under your hat. i wasnt sure whether to post where it was but its such a fantasic place and im sure other kayakers will respect it there. ive only really been out around north wales but would love to go further exploring soon.
Good stuff,it is one of THE best places to get close to seals, even better than the Farne Islands, and that is high praise indeed.Keep it under your hat though ha ha,only joking,it's accessibilty will ensure it remains not too popular.
