Travelling Light with Dane Reynolds

Dane Reynolds. Sheesh! Do you know how long it is since surf writers have snapped the spines of their thesaurus' {as they hurriedly look for synonyms for "phenomenon" or "zeitgeist", while others -- far more endearingly -- have even channelled early 70s Tom Wolfe} to describe any surfer?
It's awesome to read, and it's even better to watch. In the above clip, modest Dane describes his own equipment and champions the simplicity of travelling without the neurosis of modern electronica.

@MsJacko1194 my normal shortboard is somewhere between 6'0" and 6'3". Im not really stuck on any particular dims but If it helps, Im 6ft and aprox. 165lbs and the 5' 8" (my previous post stating its 5' 6" is a typo) i have works great even in Texas where i live. (we get almost exclusively mushy wind swell) but I sometimes wish i had gone even shorter- maybe the 5' 6" or 5' 4" version. A few friends and a cousin of mine have fishes that are 5' 4" and shorter and they ride great.
