Another example of live beat making! This software version is so similar to the Electribe hardware, I already know how to use it on the first day!

  • If youre using someone elses sounds and samples its stupid, wheres the creation?

  • @tandoni this is a synthesizer, not a sampler, but everything in the universe is made from smaller building blocks. ;-) Watch a few more videos, and you'll understand the creativity.

  • Wow, this is pretty impressive. I'm looking for something that can get that trip-hop drum sound... heavy, intense, with maybe a bit of reverb and a touch of analog sizzle to it. Any suggestions?

  • @sinjin32 You are in luck, I am a past / future Trip Hop producer. ;-) This style is based on on "drum SAMPLERS" as 90's hip hop is. ( 2000's hip hop is heavily Electro influenced.) I bet KORG will release an Electribe sampler app soonish? ( they have not told me ;-) Gorilliaz edition is of course, perfect, except for the fact that you'd don't have the liscense to officially use it in your releases. Try - Akai Synth Station, NanoStudio, DavidGuetta Electrobeats, Beatmaker, etc etc.

  • can you upload new sounds / samples into the app ?

  • @misterhuge no, it's a drum synth, not a sampler. I agree, KORG should add sampler features to this! Or make another app.

  • Cragendazs

  • Your clueless, it just aint for me, sorry for my comment anyway

  • @tandoni your fucking clueless

  • I mean you want to write your own basslines and create your own drum loops I meant

  • @sinjin32 I've always found that the dusty triphop 90's vibes are easily achieved out of any of the Akai MPC range, good luck

  • if i cant sync it (+to my DAW) or MIDI control it ....its so pointless -.-
