Lyrics :

Well, I think it's time to get ready
To realize just what I have found
I've been only half of what I am
It's all clear to me now
My heart is on fire, my soul's like a wheel that's turnin'
My love is alive, My love is alive
There's somethin' inside that's makin' me crazy
I'll try to keep it together
'Cause what I say may not happen the same way
Not to be for ever and ever
My heart is on fire, my soul's like a wheel that's turnin'
My love is alive, My love is alive
My love is alive
My love is alive
Is there a movie inside my mind
Reflectin' the love that you shine on me
Hold on now, to that feelin'
Let it flow, let it run, yeah
My heart is on fire, my soul's like a wheel that's turnin'
My love is alive, My love is alive
My love is alive
My love is alive

  • Thanks for posting this song. I heard it years ago and loved it, and this is the first time I've heard it since. Great energy from the band!

  • @LesSmith45 I wouldn’t say “spitting image”, more like he is trying really, really, hard to look like SRV

  • Holy Fack!!! That is so much emotion, damn....Joe Cocker has always put 100% of his energy in songs. Wow!!

  • The Great Phil Grande on guitar! ! ! ! !

  • Hurrah!

  • @ymp5000 It's the hat. LOL That's Phil Grande

  • That dude is a splittin image of Stevie Ray Vaughn. Is he channeling him. sure looks like it. This is such a great cover of Gary Wrights 1977 i think original. This one blows Gary's away with that screaming guitar. Well done Joe and Company. Well done.

  • Thanks for sharing - luv Joe !
