    time is observable because it crosses the 3rd, i'm saying if it was in the fourth, humans would not be able to observe it just as a hypothetical 2-d being would not be able to observe our 3-d world. which is why we can't imagine what a true 4th dimensional object would look like. (we have one but it still looks confusing because it's in the 3rd and 2nd dimensions to us)

    Time is observable as cross-sections in the 3rd dimension, so I'm not sure what you mean when you say time would not be observable from our (3rd) dimension.
