@EX1LE When I quit cold turkey, it was only very hard to deal with for about 4 days, nicotine gum is a farce i agree with you. Cigarettes are a nicotine delivery system and so is nicotine gum. Cold turkey is the best way to quit.

Ive been smoking for 15 years. Sometimes Ill smoke a pack or two a day for months and then sometimes I'll go several days... sometimes even a week (not usually more than that), without smoking. (not because I'm trying but because I'm busy or sick or whatever. Am I the only one? I don't understand because sometimes it feels like everyone else is just big babies. Ive never felt anything when I go without other than a mild desire to smoke. Ive gone about 4 months twice while trying to be healthier

I'm on my sixth day of quitting smoking . 100% cold turkey after 15 years. So far it has been a breeze. No cravings. This is really easy. I hope it continues. Not irritable or jumpy. Every time I want a smoke I take a toke of really good kind bud and continue on. no headaches no negative thoughts. I have gained about 10 pounds but that is good because I need to put on weight I am Vegan and sometimes it's hard to put on the extra pounds anyway.

You are still suffering because you are still feeding yourself NICOTINE...give up the nicorette and you will finally feel better after about a week....good luck

I've been smoke-free for 6 years and I went through all of that!! It was awful. I still think about smoking every once and a while, but it's just a thought and I send it out with my breath. The truth of the matter is that deep down I don't want to smoke.

wow, 20 days and your still tweekin like that. I don't think you really want to quit.
You didn't quit !!! you still feeding yourself nicotine and that's why you are suffering nicotine withdrawal everyday for 20 days !!! today is my 3rd day quitting cold turkey and i feel no headaches whatsoever.

You WILL need to go through withdrawal. After you face that like a man and come through it successfully. You will have a much, much better chance of quitting. Like an earlier post mentioned, you MUST take NO MORE nicotine. If you keep taking those nicorettes, you are postponing the day of zero nicotine. Until that day comes, you will be an addict. You are getting headaches because your nicotine levels are too low.
