@theslowevo And the new Deal was a failure, we have term limits because of his tyranny.

Shuttle flights resume the year I was born. I remember the second shuttle disaster.

Great deeds require great sacrifice. Those people that fly into space understand what can happen. They realize that it can all end very badly and yet they are still eager to go. Ask any of them if the risks are worth it and you will always get a yes

0:42: Eeew. I sure hope she told that joke before the Shuttle disaster.

To stop in space is too surrender. Come on SLS be built faster!

@BobbyRancher Also, FDR was a liberal (Look up the new deal)

The audio at 3:30 is not from STS-51L but from STS-41C in 1984 (it was in reference to a bee experiment onboard).

Regan's words are absolutely beutiful. he is trying to adress a tragedy. Would you say that FDR was trying to sugarcoat Pear Harbor? No, just because you are a flaming liberal who thinks all conservatives are evil, when liberals are the more devious and decietful party

@jaejedd seagull. The video quality is just so low that the features blur together and it looks weird.

@slap2tap2 Everyone is entitled to their own political views and opinions. But really, if you look at Reagan's address to the nation concerning the disaster, you can tell that he's being very serious and offering his empathy to the family and the nation. He didn't try to sugarcoat anything. He let the citizens know, "Hey, we've encountered a devastating problem."
I'll never forget this day.
