3DXchange 5 comes with a number of preset bone mapping templates for widely-used aniamation software such as Maya, 3DS Max, and Daz Studio. These templates allow you to map the bones of your character from these software suites so that you can apply any animation from iClone's enormous motion library. In addition, mapping your character's bones to an iClone rig will make your character compatible with all of iClone's powerful real-time animation toolkit, allowing you to take advantage of awesome animation tools such as body puppet motion, MixMoves, and direct body puppet.

The character used in this tutorial comes as a bonus with your copy of 3DXchange 5, and in this video you'll learn how to bring it into 3DXchange along with external BVH motions and output a fully-functional iClone character complete with a perform menu full of motions.
