@BudzMcgr33n Sad part is I couldn't care less, I am sure that there may be someone here who would be in awe and that would make their day, but tragically his comment was wasted on me. Given my level of stupidity I will also go on to say that he is just a person full of mistakes as we all are and I don't know where he is today, but if I looked back on my life and saw the pedestal I had way back when I would have wished I sang songs that would have made more positive reverberations.

It is about learning to love yourself and knowing yourself for who you are and sharing the gifts you have with others and never trying to cover someone up, cut them down, break their bank account or finding your self worth through others. You can't love someone else if you don't love yourself first and finding someone you love and repopulating the planet is exactly what has gotten us into the mess that we are in. Be a service to yourself and your community.

@CHR1552 I am sorry, I don't agree. To me the song is begging to find self worth through the eyes of another. Most likely some girl who will eventually find this person is overly dependent upon them for self identity. Or maybe she would be the one that could be his drug buddy and they could be in a codependent relationship, but either way to me it's really a sad sentiment thru & thru. He"s alone on a beach and seems quite high, however it would have been better sung tragically as it is & sober
