I really think the decision to change Ed Buller as their producer was a huge mistake. I interviewed Suede in the summer of 1997 and when Simon told me that they were not going to use Ed anymore... well, I was confounded really. I've always believed in not fixing something that isn't broken. And, as it happened, the decision to use Steve Osborne didn't work nor the countless others who were hired and fired throughout the next few records.

"Here Comes The Tears" sounds like a b-sides compilation rather than a proper album as far as I'm concerned.

I prefer New morning's second half than the "plasticity" of The tears, by far...even they both are great

Head Music is often overlooked. Think its matured alot over the years, still sounds fresh today.

"Head Music" is really their last great recording. It's too bad they didn't make it their last c.d..
