Also true. But they did it, or so it seems. They did it. The good thing about Noam Chomsky's writing is that he documents about 70 years of pathological foreign policy by the US. Attack on nations unprovoked except that they got in the way of big business. It is only the naivete of the American people that prevents them from believing that these same political psychopaths that have created "honor" in the military in attacking defenseless nations would finally turn it on our own people.

I had thought of this. Actually, given the stability of many kinds of explosives, this is conceivable - even in the innocuous sense of one day wanting to demolish the building -- but I think it is doubtful. And, there have been reports in many places with eyewitness and irrefutable testimony otherwise that there were unprecedented power-downs the week before 911 -- as though work was being done. And really, how many people ever know what the maintenance crew is doing?

the twin towers were more than likely wired for implosion when they were built...think about it..if either one of those towers fell to one side or another...in the manner of a tree falling...even a few degrees..can you imagine the destruction and life lost. so i can see them placing a system in the towers when they were built as a fail safe in the event there was danger of the bldgs falling other than in their own footprint..someone made the decision to pull the towers just like they did bldg7
