Swinging Safari - Bert Kaempfert not Billy Vaughn Bert Kaempfert (born Berthold Kämpfert; 16 October 1923 21 June 1980) was a German orchestra leader and songwriter. He made easy listening and jazz-oriented records, and wrote the music for a number of well-known songs, such as "Strangers in the Night" (originally recorded by Ivo Robić) and "Spanish Eyes".

ich bin mit kaempfert gross geworden und bewundere ihn noch heute ... seine songs sind unvergesslich und ueberleben mit sicherheit laenger als das ganze techno und gedoens von heute ... das war wenigstens noch musik, heut sinds nur noch computerlaute ... wo bleibt da die wahre kunst und genialitaet????

@smashwhammy While I was a youngster when the song was used on a tv game show, I believe it was also used on an evening game show, I think I've got a secret, though it might be another one.

Finally found out what this tune is. Tried to hum it in work and my boss knew the title straight away. Although i was not very good at it. Will save this to my favourites.
