The origin of the word 'concerto' comes from the Italian 'certare' - to strive. There's certainly "strife" here.....Argerich is striving to keep herself and the orchestra together despite the appalling conductor...doesn't look like he ever bothers to watch her. Compare Charles Dutoit with Bronfman. They come apart in certain passages as well but at least Dutoit tries to keep the whole thing TOGETHER!
