How can you add a watermark behind your spreadsheet? It is not obvious, but Episode 1151 shows you a couple of methods.

  • Hey! Great tip, but how can you send it to the back of the cells, because now if you click on a cell "under" the picture you only click the picture..? Thanks!

  • @erikmarius You have to click outside of the picture (perhaps cell J10) and then use the left arrow key on the keyboard to move to the correct cell...

    I *can* get the watermark to appear behind the cells, but then it will not print. (Page Layout, Background for a non-printable watermark)

  • @bjele123 Thanks for the quick response! Yes, I tried that as well, but I want different watermarks for different cells. From C11:C62 to IA11:IA62 I want the watermark to say 2012. From C64:C115 to IA64:IA115 I want 2011 and so on downwards for the different years.
