Fantasy Design is an European design education project that supports learning with design and promoting design methods in formal education and informal learning. In this project children and young people are designers. They work locally and beyond borders of geography, state limits or language in design projects that deal with their own environment.

In this film, industrial designer Hannu Kähönen talks about the role of the user in designers work. He describes how designers take in consideration the user and what kind of methods they can use to discover the needs of different kind of users. He also talks about one concrete example of design for all: Helsinki City low-floor tram.

This video is made for Fantasy Design in Community by Design Museum Helsinki.
