For those that are wondering if the truck was fixed...it wasn't. A reserve enging was put in its place for about 3 years. The cost of the damage was about the same amount as the truck ($600,000) roughly... A newer quint of the same size has now taken it's place cause the city bought a newer and bigger one.

that's what happens to kids these days now that parents go to jail for spanking. you beat his ass right the first time... you'll never have to do it again. i'd consider stealing a fire rig a respect issue. i mean wtf. the world would be a much better place w/o people like this. if you're pickin up what i'm puttin down. get rid of him.

I have never heard of some one joy riding in a fullsize fire rig. Wow! So Was the rig replaced or fixed? What length of time did it take to fix or repair that rig. What happened to the joy rider leagally? Who is paying the damages? I hope the joy rider has or had to pay money damages. I am glad that no one was killed. I do not remeber any remarks about the joy rider getting hurt. I hope that did not happen.

The kid should pay for the cost total for the truck's replacemt/rebuild. Thats should make him think, "should i really be doing this?"
