After washing the Geronimo, we took it up for a spin in the pattern at Beverly Airport. N4462P is a 1962 Piper Apache which was converted from two 160 horse power engines to 180 horse power engines and that is how it got the name "Geronimo." We started up both engines and taxied to runway 16 via taxiway bravo. We did a quick run-up and then took off to fly a normal left traffic pattern. Instead of the normal 1100' pattern altitude, we went to 1500' because we were going very fast. Then we did a full stop and taxied it back to the ramp. At the begininng, you see I film a little of the cockpit while Dave, the ower of the plane, did a quick preflight. This was my first time flying a twin engine aircraft! This Piper Apache-Geronimo is a very nice aircraft and flies great! As you see in the video, I had the camera set to a wing view. Enjoy the video!
