The Beast of Bolsover describes the coalition as a 'Rag, Tag and Bobtail' government, whilst neatly reminding people of the Lib Dem's hypocrisy.

  • @Cnd1867 Laws could not savage an ice cream.

  • labour put people on the dole! they made it so that people on benefits could earn more than many people who work hard 5 or 6 days a week. labour started a benefits culture - little girls aspire to be 'mums and have lots of children so i don't have to work and still get money - just like my mum'. it REALLY is enough to make you think that the whole reason labour give out benefits is so that they have a vote base. they're 'the party of the poor'. if people weren't poor, they'd be out of business!

  • @GoldenbanjoDJ Just like a Tory voter only reads half the truth and distorts the rest .The £26.000 benefits are for London`s high rent `s which his Tory LAND LORDs charge, very little left to live on.

  • This drive and ambition you talk of, who do you think is to blame for that? Do you think Socialists are to blame? Do you think communists are? Why is it we live in such a good free capitalist system and yet these big employers can't provide their workers with a decent living wage? Don't you think that may breed a lack of drive and determination to go out to work and yet be so bad off?

  • @thongdongalong

'reasonable opinion'? Mate you have given no facts at all. Your opinion is not based on reason whatsoever... Classic leftist - all emotion, no fact.

All you have to say is classic thick shit points like 'read this (not at all biased sounding) book', 'daddy's allowance', 'elitist garbage'. I come across your type all the time. It would be funny if it wasn't so tragic.

  • @GoldenbanjoDJ What a load of elitist garbage, social mobility hahahaha. Go read the demonisation of the working class, maybe once you have actually read something factual and not a load of tripe from the papers etc. you can form a reasonable opinion.

  • In fact, one would suggest that the prospect of making better lives for oneself would allow for copious amounts of drive and ambition.

But no-one is going to realistically go out and work when the government molly coddles them with £26,000 worth of benefits/year- far more than I get for working my ass off teaching. I believe we should help people, but successive governments have taken the drive and ambition from our culture and created something that I would actually call immoral

  • @thongdongalong

I believe your views to be flawed as well. Yeah, many people in poverty do not have the help. But that doesn't stop them from having drive and ambition. My girlfriend comes from a very working class family. Her father works for a large pest control company. They are as working class as you can get. They live in a rough part of a rough area. And she is training to be a doctor. It's called social mobility. Getting out of the class you were born into by hard work

  • @GoldenbanjoDJ Go read your previous comment and you may click on. Ahhh, but I didn't do it of daddy's allowance. Another thing, people who grow up in poverty do not have the help we do. People who once would have been party of the working class, are in the lower class BECAUSE of the elite's. Maggie thatcher destroyed so many jobs and then you expect them to do above and beyond to work? Lets no blame the victims here, lets sort the problem. You're views are flawed. And nothing you said was true.

  • @GoldenbanjoDJ

You don't even seem capable of recognising what I have been saying all along in regards to the labour party changing from the party for 'working people' to the party for the benefit cheats. You seem to think I have some agenda against 'working class' people, which is complete bullshit. I'm FOR working people. The labour party isn't.That's what I have been saying all along! You're the one who opens up all this 'class war' shit. We both value the working man

  • @GoldenbanjoDJ

To be honest, the comment on my thumbnail tells me everything I need to know about you. More assumptions. You are the kind of individual who thinks that because he knows a little bit about something then he has the right to win it without even listening to the other side. You can use that as an excuse not to argue with me if you want, but that's pathetic. You just can't forge a coherent answer to my points that doesn't revolve around your own 'personal experience'.
