What the hell happened to Joel Daly? Man he got old and fat!!!!

He is now a practicing trial lawyer and is a member of the Bar in Illinois and Wisconsin. He retired from ABC 7 full-time in 2005, but now he is their legal analysts and does reports every now and then.

He was one of my all time favorite anchors in Chicago. There others were Linda MacLennan, Bill Kurts, Walter Jacobson, Ron Magers, Carol Marine, Joel Daly and the best of all time Floyd "The Tuna" Kalber.

Anybody else remember John's colorful comment about Fay Dunaway? Late 90's, I think. Maybe she had a new movie, or an interview- can't remember. Anyway, Mary Ann Childers smiled warmly and said "I've always liked her!" . Drury shrugs "I dunno, kinda slutty don't ya think?" A stunned Childers nervously laughed. Hilarious!

I was born and raised in Wilmette(outside Chicago)and I do remember seeing John and everybody else but imagine how many other people that 7 lost. Let's see, there was Jim Gibbons, Tim Weigel, Floyd Kalber and now John.
