  • @bennett000000 8 bells.

  • how many bells are there?

  • @timmeh1507 I agree entirely; very bright, musical 12cwt 8! They go well too!

  • Rang here on a weekend a couple of years ago and was very impressed by them, a lovely set of bells!

  • Spending an hour a week ringing still gives you the opertunity to go and get "Bevvied" as you so put it, or "grab a few birds". Being a bell ringer DOES NOT prevent this. It is a past time. Your "advice" will not rub off on ringers. Would you give up eating because you hated Chinese food for example?

Answer me this. would some of them have been doing it for over 20 years if they hated it?

    You tit.

  • I love a good ring down. There is that wonderful hum.

  • No - my instructor was a visitor here, but we ring about twelve miles away.

  • Wow is this your tower? which one is your instructor?

  • That was most enjoyable. My bell handling instructor is just visible in this video.

  • well I hope Liverpoolira doesn't come from Liverpool - although by the use of the language (s)he probably does. I rang in Liverpool for amost 30 years and I do have a life, a brain & a dishwasher so I strongly recommend you find out about what this ancient Art & science is before you open your gob!
