I am amazed the AARP leadership is pushing for healthcare reform led by an administration which has healthcare advisors who think age discrimination is not evil. The members of AARP need to throw the current AARP leadership out.

Obama lied about the public option being a Trojan horse for single payer. Now he is scheduled to make a major healthcare speech on Wednesday night. The Republicans will get a chance to respond. I have written an Open Letter to My Congressman and posted it in Notes on my Facebook page. See roncram1. Please take a look to see if you support these proposals.

Why are these people, most of whom are probably ON government health care, complaining about stripping the insurance companies of profit and offering government health care to more people?

Interesting how this video leaves out the scenes when certain folks in the audience were shouting down those trying to lead an even discussion. It's quite clear which side is trying to block a legitimate debate on healthcare reform

cytonge = the drones of Obama do not even KNOW what is in the 1000+ pages of "therefores and shall be required" in that Medical Manifesto! They do not know that in 2013 - anyone switching jobs cannot be put onto the new companys private plan! Now can the company provide private health care plans for any new hires! Thus = it will totally ruin businesses from recruiting. Think if you have an ill spouse or 4+ children or pre-existing illness you would NEVER give up the private plan for Obama care!

...which is why you see large groups of people that are opposed it. People are waking up and realizing that we, as a country, can not continue to spend the way Obama has. The federal and state governments have screwed up Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. What makes you think that they can run our healthcare any better? I do my own thinking and have chosen not to drink the kool-aid of Maddow and Olbermann. You knock yourself out though...sounds like you've been on it for years...

Yes, a large number of people oppose it. Many of those disrupting, of course, are plants. I don't listen to Maddow and Olbermann, nor do I listen to Limbaugh, Levin, Hannity and Ingraham and all the other phonies. BTW, I voted for McCain, not Obama. Unfortunately, Palin was on McCain's ticket--I wish he would have put someone with brains on it instead of a Christer without sense. And, many corporations can't run anything right, either, obviously.

P.S. I'm opposing this health care plan, BTW. And, I am also opposing any attempts at Christers trying to make this country into a theocracy. So far, that has been successful. Anyone who thinks this counry's first allegiance is to the Bible then the constitution needs to be defeated. Freedom of religion is protected, but a theocracy isn't.
