  • Pretty good job, woodenax. To say it was as good as the Master, John Michael Talbot would be a stretch, but WAY better than I could do. That is one of my earliest favorite songs when I got saved. I don't know how I came across JMT, but he has been getting better with age, like a good wine. :) Keep up the good work.

  • Thanks for the compliment. I know I'll never be as good as JMT,but if I can just get a little close to his ability, I'll be happy. It just fills my spirit. That was also one of my favorite songs when I was saved back in the early 80's. Thank you again, and may God bless you.

  • Wow! Sir...You are really good! Just as good as Talbot. Good Job.

You need to go professional...love your voice. Take-Care

  • Thank you so much.Praise Jesus.I have 3 more songs on you-tube.Check them out and tell me what you think.I will also be putting more original Christian songs on you-tube just as soon as I get my guitar back from being worked on.

  • Beautiful, you play it well brother. God Bless you

  • I love it! Many Thanks. :-)

  • Amazing job! Brings me back to when I first heard it. It really get to me, especially the part...."he didn't really mean what he was plainly saying...my friend, you're an educated fool." Thank you, brother!

  • Good cover man ... enjoyed it. :)

  • Beautiful... carried me to a meaningful place. Profoundly and simply penned by JMT and nicely delivered by you... the harmony was a great addition!

  • First heard this song in early 70's in Charlotte, NC at the Salt Cellar along Independence Blvd. You could have heard a pin drop, even on carpet floors when the song was finished. The message pierces straight to the heart then as now. Purity of thought and deed. We all still need a little reminder to stay true to our calling. Peace and love earnestly always.
