Darkmoon tickets would be a terrible way of acquiring the gear before level 85 just because it would take months and months and months to acquire enough tickets to purchase said gear.
By the time you got enough tickets, you should be high enough level to just go farm the dungeons and get it yourself

I think trans is pointless. You can only make your great gear look like old armor sets that you have. What would be better is being Level 30 and matching your CRAPPY looking mismatched armor to look like Tier 2 gear. Otherwise I have to be a super high level and acquired old gear just to look like I used to 5 years ago.
Meanwhile, level 1-84 I look like the usual crap.

@liligman Considering you can solo classic raids "EARNING" stuff is probably easier and faster then doing darkmoon faire.

can i transmogrify cool items to look like 20lvl items? i really hate how 85lvl characters look something like Voltron..Tranformers.. or Power Rangers they look like shit.. so can i make end-game items look like some first-level ones?

0:41 "The only items that can be used in the transmog process are items that have stats."
4:36 "This gear however, comes attached with no stats. As its true purpose is intended for transmogrification."

Finally I can "equip" my ridiculously awesome 2h axe from BWL that has been taking a bank slot for 6 years.
