So, I recorded this on the first day of World of Wheels 2011 in New Orleans. I was very excited because this would be the second year I'd get in free all weekend because I'm an automotive student. Alright, this is a warm idle, with a little rev and a little burnout-right-turn from a stop sign. Of course with no weight int he bed, the tail almost got away from me. Hence the frantic one-handed will jerkin'. Spectre 3" CAI, 2-1/4 Cherrybomb Turbo Muffler, 2-1/4" Piping and a 3" Dual Resonated Tip. I didn't mention the 265/70/16 A/Ts, but they're there and fuel economy isn't that bad at all. Doesn't help too-too much with acceleration, but we'll talk tires later. The reason why I'm showing this is because I wanted to prove, just for kicks, that stock vehicles can have a little power if you take GOOD care of them. I perform carbon treatments, valve gasket replacements, hose replacements, harness upgrades, connector upgrades, sensor upgrades, better spark plugs and filters. You know, basic things like that. Supposed to be 190hp at 3600. I got 198hp. Not a BIG accomplishment, but I'm on my way. I just decided to start making videos of my soon to be step-by-step journey to racetrack or dirttrack. Haven't decided if I want to start working on lowering and hissing(turbo) or lifting and screamin(super). So, hey I know V6 trucks aren't for everyone, but wish me luck in the future. Can you say--Doug Thorley?!?! By the way, I know the video quality is bad, but I couldn't use my digi-camera. The camera's sound quality sucks. What a dumbass predicament, right?
Only mod done... that tip bought from one of the following, autozone, advance, pepboys. "To be honest" TBH lol
