if you just know the history of DotA you may notice that if DotA didn't become popular,there is no LOL either HoN or DotA 2 i forgot the other one coz' its not popular.I added DotA 2 because DotA is counted as one of DotA's updates so if DotA isn't this popular there will be no DotA 2 as update.
