When I left Baku I was only 5 years old, I rather better be a YAN then a OV. It's a great honor for me to carry the Armenian youth and tradition. Well both, the name and the last name are Armenian, so I am pretty easy to spot =), so nothing surprising about that. It is more surprising that you were born in Baku and didn't have your last name changed with "ov" instead of "yan/ian". You must have left Bake in a young age.

Ervandsarkisyan, I knew you were Armenian just by looking at the last 3 letters of your last name, mine is Babayan. I was born in Azerbajain, Baku, but I'm 100% Armenian!!

I just checked her biography. She is Ukrainian, which is amazing because she speaks perfect Uzbek. I am Armenian from Uzbekistan and don't speak Uzbek at all. It was usually Uzbeks that spoke Uzbek language. She must be from a mixed family.
