This is probably a stupid question but is there any infra-red footage of the towers just before the collapse? Wouldn't the fire department want to know how hot it was up there before sending crews in? Do they have such equipment? Does anyone in emergency management? Can we get hold of this data?

Most jet fuel exploded outside the towers. The sprinklers were working. Thernite "matches" exist which require a simple electronic pulse to ignite the thermite. Even though gypsum wallboard could not have melted under the temperature of the fire, is it possible that small dust particles of the gypsum could have been scattered and collected? I mean there was about 1 million tons of wallboard that went down with the building.

@vettster1 If they used guided planes.You would have to assume one of three things.

The planes was empty,or had no pilot from takeoff but had passengers ,or the pilot gave over control of the plane to a guidance system and sat and watched the towers get closer with people aboard.Either way,you have to account for the people and pilot.

Explain one thing which opens up new problems that needs explaining,before it's over,you have ghost planes,video and picture editing on a scale that Hollywood doesn't use,Tupac and Elvis show up. @stayinstock With todays guidance systems it is very likely that they could put the plane exactly where they wanted it to hit. No one had to be waiting with charges. It was planted long before. And those charges were Thermite ;) Just as the video shows.

Everyone saw the planes hit.

I'm sure no one was waiting with a torch in the area of impact.

I'm also sure no one could accurately predict which floors the planes were going to hit and were waiting on it or loaded the area with demo charges beforehand.
