  • @Boredout454 just breaking even with the original hemi? where the hell do you come up with this crap, "my friend"? chrysler corp did their R&D on hemispherical combustion chambers and dual rocker-arm configurations in the late 30's and brought it to market for chrysler, imperial, and desoto in the fall of 50 for the 51 model year. this motor in various imperial, chrysler, desoto and dodge configurations existed thru the end of the 58 model year and the profit was in the millions.

  • @Boredout454 I will violently defend the constitution, which is under attack by the tea party, republicans and democrats.

  • @Boredout454 and the Tea party has made it clear that it wishes to enforce christian values by law. They are the biggest driving force against gays in the mllitary and gay marriage which is simply wrong. Granted republicans have done worse, Bush sr, going so far to say that atheist can't be american citizens.

  • @midatlanticcycle Lol they had engine dyno's my friend in 1958. I remember an interview with the original design team of the Gen I Hemi talking about dyno'ing every Hemi that left the factory which is something that caused the downfall of the first Gen because the costs was just too much, they where just breaking even with the Hemi the first time around.

  • @Boredout454 no they weren't. the last year for the 392 was 1958 and chrysler never used dynos back then, you goof

  • @Polybun Most Left Wingers talk about Tea Parties, Christians, Right Wingers and say they oppress or are ignorant, judgmental, but many of that Left side has become what they say they hate. And theyre violent about it.

  • @Polybun No I do not wish to oppress the minority but I will not appologize for being in the majority or be ashamed of it or have some one shame me for it. In other nations which are not or where not originally Christian nations you either can not worship another religion and are oppressed or cant worship at all aka oppressed. Most (not all)of the Founding Fathers where Christians and sects of that faith that did not get along but wanted choice and freedom for all.Read there own words.

  • @Polybun Where did I ask that? I said Tea Party, while its true most Tea Party members are Christians (not all in the slightest) its core is about restoring the Republic and returning to the Constitution and the founding Fathers. Now with that said Im sorry but you do live in a place where most laws are and where founded upon Christan morality (up until a few years ago adulatory and divorce was illegal), Im not saying return to that but dont say it never existed.

  • @Boredout454 Not true in the least. Because what you are asking the government to do is start enforcing christian morality as law, not something it has ever done before. If anything you are making it even less of a republic! The entire point of a republic is to keep majority from oppressing the minority, which does happen with democracies. What you suggest is to allow the christian majority to oppress all others.

  • @Boredout454 They were ran in, but not tuned. They were only run long enough to break in the cam and that was it. It wasn't really a dyno, just a test stand. No load was placed on those enignes. They just winged it up to about 2500rpm for about 15 minutes and shut it down.

Now some production samples were taken in and full tested, but occurred several times per day and those engines were typically ran to destruction.
