  • Say what you will, but you must admit this anthem is catchy.

  • Individually and in family groups, Germans are some of the most wonderful people in the world- what the heck is it with any large organisation that reduces the combined IQ to that of the dumbest member?

  • Sieg Heil!

  • @Flowtail Okej thanks for chairing bro'

  • "Tomorrow Belongs to Me" is a parody and was written by Julius Stein who was Jewish.

I assure you he would not have written a genuine Nazi song

  • History ftw

  • @squirell1952 initially the national socialist was a worker movement, hitler gets the suport of the aristocratic class thanks to herman goëring.

  • I have no idea what the song says, even though I speak English, because I have a habit of reading the captions.

  • si!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @aesoler - Nope, the song was written for the original Broadway musical in 1966 and it is exactly identical to the one in the movie - which is just elongated and repeated in its final chorus. The song was intended as a PARODY of German military marches and army chants. Of course it's a scary parody, but you are right in saying that it's not a traditional song.

From IMDB "Tomorrow Belongs to Me" was written by John Kander and Fred Ebb in the style of a traditional German song, sung by the Nazi youth in the movie, to stir up patriotism for the "fatherland".

  • @anonUK Are you sure? - watch?v=BSoLN77fBn8&feature=related
