@toepunt10 Actually, you'd be surprised how little artists make from selling records, especially in such a niche market as drum n bass. These artists make their money from gigs, this is also where they advertise their tunes to the masses. To say that a few thousand pirate downloads wont hurt the artist is completely untrue. The only time an artist will make any 'real' money is by making it big.... like Chase & Status, Nero, Sub Focus. IF YOU LIKE IT, BUY IT! SUPPORT YOUR SCENE!!!!

Think you should spend some money on hedumacation rather than this bad ass music. Piracy will always exist and DJs make their money from vinyl sales and touring. Just because a few thousand are downloading this song doesnt mean the artist is hurt. If an artist/dj/producer is any good then they'll make money and live comfortably, if they're shite then they'll soon be shooting up in a piss soaked alley.
