Hello everyone, thanks for the positive feedback on my previous Peart tributes...Here's another one from "Signals" A couple of people asked if I could turn up the drums (my drums) in the mix...so, voila! there you go. This performance is a little loose in parts, but I was happy enough with it to post on here...Anyway! I will be posting some other drumming on here soon (besides Rush!) including me drumming to some original songs that I've recorded with different bands...and maybe a solo? Anyway, enjoy and please leave feedback!
Thanks,
Ray Harber

  • your an amazing drummer, but all im saying is that ur smallest tom is pissing me off because the word "Evans" is at a different angle then the rest of them -_-

  • @MajorT127 Lol! That kind of thing usually bothers me too!

  • what makes me love this song is that piece at 0:27 - 0:37, i mean, how can you be so awesome to invent that

  • @Bokee234 You mean how awesome that Neil invented that!

  • hey ray awesome job...however, i'm surprised that you don't play the the third verse right. neil drops his right hand down to play play ghost notes before accenting the hi-hat. i'm sure you know that and you can't miss it when neil does it live. that surprised me!! otherwise you nailed it...good job!!

  • Thanks! Yeah, I just recently noticed that Neil drops his right hand down to the snare like you said on that verse...I think I noticed it on the R30 DVD. ANYWAY, by the time I noticed this, I had already recorded this video. Thanks again!

  • why does everyone wear that goofy hat?

  • Great job on this; superb.

Interestingly, I have Bill Wheeler's "Drum Techniques of Rush". And on the inside cover it notes that "The drum arrangements in this folio were prepared under the supervision of Neil Peart." So I am thinking it must be accurate. Anyway, I noticed that for Subdivisions, there is no ghost note on the third verse, just as you played it. So, I am thinking maybe the ghosting is possibly an improvisational thing Neil added in later; because he does do it in live videos.

  • I love the old DW R.I.M.S

  • BRAVO, c'est la classe, comme l'original !!!!

  • Hi Ray

You are an amazing drummer making extremely nice drum covers of the Rush songs! Without your tributes, the wold would be a poor place to be!

  • cheers ray....great job man!

  • Your drums still aren't high enough in the mix though. I would love to be able to use this as a backing track to practice the bass.

  • amazing!!

  • what do you have holding up your 16" crash thats over the bass drum? is it a multi stand?
