See I remember when I used to think so, and thought I liked Rush because of that point. But don't forget, this guy championed the people who disrupted townhalls across the country just for the sake of obstruction, while these people had legitimate anger that actually wasn't being heard. Rush cries victim about his issues being so drowned by the "liberal media" but in fact they were the ones not being heard, and they were shouting for equal time. Just shows the hypocrisy here

When liberals do it, oh how annoying. But when TeaParty freaks show up with megaphones and disrupt entire town hall meetings in far less civil ways than this, it's heroic or something. Difference is, Rush went to his closed, well screened caller show, while those town hall leaders continued to be attacked, rocks through their office windows, death threats, ads with gunshot targets on their faces...

...the true face of America. Rush is the victim. Dying women are whining liberals.

Funny 22 years later when they honor him in his home state they have to do it behind locked doors with just republican politicians in attendence and with state troopers standing guard. I always thought state sponsored ceremonies are festiv events not done in secrete. Must be a lonely life for Rush.
